The Balfour Collection – A Presidential Collection of 8 Apartments. As with all our projects, we strive to honour the heritage and history of the areas where our properties are built. We believe it is our duty to pay tribute to legends of the past and ensure their legacy is remembered and celebrated through our newly constructed developments.
So we are naming our project in Hoddesdon Town Centre after Arthur James Balfour, 1st Earl of Balfour, also known as Lord Balfour. He was a British statesman and politician and also Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1902 to 1905. In July 1902, he succeeded his uncle Lord Salisbury as Prime Minister.
Arthur Balfour was educated at Grange Preparatory School in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire (1859–1861), and Eton College (1861–1866).
We believe our development will primarily appeal to first-time buyers, particularly young professionals taking their first step on the property ladder. What better way to inspire these individuals than to pay homage to a man who walked the same streets and rose to lead one of the greatest countries in the world.
